No, “very interesting”and "consuming” are not synonomous.

Explanation:

I found this to be tru by entering the word "consuming” into a thesaurus and finding synonyms that did not include "very interesting." The synonyms I found are the following: absorbing, compelling, compulsive, obsessive, overwhelming; intense, ardent, strong, powerful, burning, raging, fervid, profound, deep-seated. When looking up "consuming" in a dictionary, the definition is "completely filling one's mind and attention; absorbing," and I personally see no way that “very interesting” and "consuming” are synonomous.

The dog didn’t have a owner so I thought I would keep it! I named her Rosie and she is a golden retriever puppy! I’m am so happy I decided to keep her!
