Answer:

The offspring of an organism that produces asexually is identical to its parents because in asexual reproduction there is no mate required, so therefore the one parent produces and passes its genetic information down to its offspring. Sexual reproduction is common in mammals they produce with a mate, so the offspring has a combination of both of the parents traits and has more genetic variation.

Sexual reproduction:

the production of new living organisms by combining genetic information from two individuals of different types (sexes). In most higher organisms, one sex (male) produces a small motile gamete which travels to fuse with a larger stationary gamete produced by the other (female).

asexual reproduction:

Asexual reproduction is a type of reproduction that does not involve the fusion of gametes or change in the number of chromosomes. The offspring that arise by asexual reproduction from either unicellular or multicellular organisms inherit the full set of genes of their single parent.
