For example, a Pakistani police officer may be more reliable than an English police officer for a person from Pakistan. Secondly, communication between the police officers and people from town may be more fluent. If an " Indian" police officer needs information , the Indian people will be more open to give it to him / her. Diversity in policing will make the bonds between the police and ordinary people stronger and more effective.
