It all depends on whose life it’s effecting, the maturity they have, possibly their age, and who is doing the threatening. If you are in a situation where someone is threatening yourself, you should be held accountable because that’s being selfish as sad as it sounds it’s true, but if it where your child do whatever you have to do to keep them safe. Their maturity can be a big thing also, like if they have certain mental disabilities then they may not became to comprehend why the things they are doing should not be done. Age can play a big part in this also, a teenager has lots of hormones going on, and may act out badly during a situation like this because it is scary and a lot of pressure while someone that is older with more experience may know how to handle things a little better
