This graphics program should draw a caterpillar. A caterpillar has NUM_CIRCLES circles. Use a for loop to draw the caterpillar,

centered vertically in the screen. Every other circle is a different color. When i is even, the circle should be red. When i is odd, the circle should be green. Remember that 0 is an even number. Be sure that the caterpillar is still drawn across the whole canvas even if the value of NUM_CIRCLES is changed. (PYTHON, CODEHS 4.6.6 Caterpillar.)

Answer:

radius = (get_width() / NUM_CIRCLES / 2)

x = radius

for i in range(NUM_CIRCLES):

   circ = Circle(radius)

   if i % 2 == 0:

       circ.set_color(Color.red)

   else:

       circ.set_color(Color.green)

   circ.set_position(x, get_height() / 2)

   add(circ)

   current_spot = x

   x = current_spot + (radius * 2)

Construct sequence using a specified number of integers within a range. The sequence must be strictly increasing at first and th
natulia [17]

Answer:

Explanation:

The following code is written in Java. It first creates a function that takes in the three parameters to create the sequence, if the sequence is valid it returns the created sequence, otherwise it prints -1 and returns an empty array. The second function called compareSequences takes in to sequences as parameters and compares them, printing out the winner. A test case has been provided in the main method and the output can be seen in the image below.

import java.util.Arrays;

class Brainly {

   public static void main(String[] args) {

       int[] seq1 = createSequence(5, 4, 2);

       int[] seq2 = createSequence(5, 3, 3);

       System.out.println("Winner: " + Arrays.toString(compareSequences(seq1, seq2)));

   }

   public static int[] createSequence(int num, int upperEnd, int lowerEnd) {

       int[] myArray = new int[num];

       int middle = (int) Math.floor(num/2.0);

       myArray[0] = upperEnd;

       myArray[num-1] = lowerEnd;

       int currentValue = upperEnd;

       for (int i = 1; i < num-1; i++) {

           if (i <= middle) {

               myArray[i] = currentValue + 1;

               currentValue += 1;

           } else {

               myArray[i] = currentValue - 1;

               currentValue += 1;

           }

       }

       System.out.println(Arrays.toString(myArray));

       if (myArray[num-2] < lowerEnd) {

           System.out.println("-1");

           int[] empty = {};

           return empty;

       } else {

           return myArray;

       }

   }

   public static int[] compareSequences(int[] seq1, int[] seq2) {

       int lowestLength;

       if (seq1.length > seq2.length) {

           lowestLength = seq2.length;

           lowestLength = seq1.length;

           if (seq1[i] > seq2[i]) {

What is the magnitude of the largest positive value you can place in a bool? a char? an int? a float?
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

A bool can hold only true or false values.

A char can hold maximum 65535 characters.

An int can hold maximum positive value of 2,147,483,647.

A float can hold maximum positive value of 3.4 x 10^{38}.

Explanation:

Primitive data types in Java language can be categorized into boolean and numeric data types.

Numeric can be divided further into floating point and integral type. Floating data type includes float and double values while and integral data type which consists of char, int, short, long and byte data types.

Every data type has a range of values it can hold, i.e., every data type has a minimum and maximum predefined value which it is allowed to hold. The intermediate values fall in the range of that particular data type.

Any value outside the range of that particular data type will not compile and an error message will be displayed.

The data types commonly used in programming are boolean, char, int and float.

A boolean variable can have only two values, true or false.

A char variable can hold from 0 to 65535 characters. Maximum, 65535 characters are allowed in a character variable. At the minimum, a char variable will have no characters or it will be a null char variable, having no value.

An int variable has the range from minimum -2^{31} to maximum 2^{31} – 1. Hence, the maximum positive value an int variable can hold is (2^{31}) – 1.

A float variable can hold minimum value of 1.4 x 10^{-45} and maximum positive value of 3.4 x 10^{38}.

The above description relates to the data types and their respective range of values in Java language.

The values for boolean variable remain the same across all programming languages.

The range of values for char, int and float data types are different in other languages.

A numeric test score is to be converted to a letter grade of A, B, or C according to the following rules: A score greater than 9
arlik [135]

The code segment makes use of conditional statements.

Conditional statements in programming are used to make decisions

The code segment in C++ is as follows

if (score > 90) {

grade = 'A';

}

else if (score >= 80 && score < =90) {

grade = 'B';

}

else {

grade = 'C';

}

The above code segments take the score, make comparison, and then determine the appropriate letter grade.
