I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud </em>(also known as<em> Daffodils</em>) is a poem written by William Wordsworth, an English Romantic poet. It is his most-known work and is considered a classic of English Romantic poetry.
What inspired Wordsworth to write this poem were the daffodils he saw while talking a walk with his sister Dorothy. This is how much nature influenced him. He is often referred to as a poet of nature. He presented it as something that has a personality, worshipped it, and saw it as a source of joy and consolation. We can see this in the given poem as well. He describes nature in the most positive way and tells us about how it makes him happy even when he is sad.
His biggest problem is his major, major issue with confrontation, which displays itself prominently in his treatment of – or rather, by – his various employees
