1. The mongolian empire expanded in Central Asia and Europe, they invested and protected the trades and making of the silk road.

2. They got goods from places like Rome and China. (I don't know if this will help but they had wool, gold, and silver.)

The main "attraction" was how religiously tolerant were the colonists from the middle colonies . This vast migration of immigrants caused a big impact in the United States . It added different cultures that would later form into new ones and it caused even more immigrants to come to the Americas.
