My dad is a lovable bear this morning. He comes into the kitchen and gives our mom a big bear hug while she makes breakfast. Then he roams through the house and growls at us kids to get up. While we eat, he tells us the latest jokes and laughs louder than anyone. Then he gives us a list of chores to do and cautions us to finish them. We look at each other and race to the window. We sigh with relief. Our bear is only taking out the garbage!
