Answer:

I'm an angel, tell me what you mean by that

I take it all and I will never give it back

I don't feel sorry every time I see you cry

Every time you start, I'm waiting for your tears to dry

I don't really care, and I never will

That's the way I am, such a bitter pill

I don't really care, how much silence kills

That's the way I am

No, I wasn't born without a heart

I wasn't always like this, no

Watched you break me, no

Now you blame me

No, I wasn't born with all these scars

And that's what made me like this, no

Can you blame me, no? (No, oh, oh)

I'm a nightmare, I know what you mean by that

I can't wake up from all these scary dreams I have

I don't really care, and I never will

That's the way I am, such a bitter pill

I don't really care, how much silence kills…

How is nature in the poem
(9:00pm) similar to nature in the
story?
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

Nature Poem follows Teebs—a young, queer, American Indian (or NDN) poet—who can’t bring himself to write a nature poem. For the reservation-born, urban-dwelling hipster, the exercise feels stereotypical, reductive, and boring. He hates nature. He prefers city lights to the night sky. He’d slap a tree across the face. He’d rather write a mountain of hashtag punchlines about death and give head in a pizza-parlor bathroom; he’d rather write odes to Aretha Franklin and Hole. While he’s adamant—bratty, even—about his distaste for the word “natural,” over the course of the book we see him confronting the assimilationist, historical, colonial-white ideas that collude NDN people with nature. The closer his people were identified with the “natural world,” he figures, the easier it was to mow them down like the underbrush. But Teebs gradually learns how to interpret constellations through his own lens, along with human nature, sexuality, language, music, and Twitter. Even while he reckons with manifest destiny and genocide and centuries of disenfranchisement, he learns how to have faith in his own voice.

Oksanka [162]
On page 113 there is a personification or a symbolism where it shows the light as something related to the desires of gatsby. The artificial light represents the hopes and dreams of relieving what was lived with Daisy and once the lights turn off then it symbolizes the fulfillment of his desires
