vladimir1956 [14]

Answer:

Elie fostered the courage to raise her hand in class for the first time. This was a massive achievement for Elie due to the fact that she was very shy and speaking in front of others made her hands sweat. She had a revealing countenance always revealing her agitated nature. Other students would find this hilarious and always burst out in laughter. Especially Nick.

Elie absolutely hated Nick. He would always make not only a huge scene but an exaggerated one as well, And of course all of her fellow classmates saw him as a reputable source.  When Elie began to answer the teacher question Nick blurted the answer. This ignited a deep anger in Elie. One that she had never felt at this level of magnitude.

She knew Nick loved to diminish all of her achievements. At this moment Elie promised herself she would never grovel at his feet. She wanted to become a person that others felt deep revere for. She wanted to become a person others could look up too. This is when Elie began her journey to become someone great. Even if she did'int know what she would do or who she would be. She felt determined.
