Why erosion and deposition occur side by side?

Geography

Answer:

It is because that is how it works. If you have a heavy rainstorm that starts to drop large amounts of rain on a field — you will likely see the results of erosion that occurs as the water moves soil from hilly areas to lower areas of the field. Any areas in the field that are flat, all of that water will just turn it into mud. The soil moving from that field is not traveling great distances away from where it was originally located. So, where the erosion occurred may be literally just a few meters from the spot where it was deposited.

in many cases, you will find that the spot of soil deposition will not be very far from the location where the erosion occurred.

The following are examples of hypothetical regions that need to be surveyed. Using the descriptions of the projects in the follo
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

Explanation:

i) Ground survey:

A simple ground based field survey with the investigators walking around the survey area might help locate the Colonial plantation house. An extension of this, is to manually dig test holes either randomly, or in a grid to help locate the house.

ii) Radar survey:

Using ground penetrating radars, a subsurface image of the region can be prepared. The lack of vegetation will help generate a clear image. This subsurface can help possibly pinpoint the exact location of the plantation house. Radar uses EM waves to determine the shape of objects based on the reflectivity of the object being imaged.

iii) Resistivity:

The resistivity of the ash bed will be different from the resistivity of the material used to build the house, and this difference in resistivity can be used in a resistivity survey to locate the house.

Give 4 effects of the revolution of earth. Compare equinox and solstice with three examples. Explain three reasons that make sum
Maurinko [17]

the major effects of the earth’s revolution is not that there are seasons (contrary to what some reserve teachers think), which are caused by the axis tilt. however given that the axis tilt is responsible for seasons, the orbit around the sun will make them repeat themselves once per amount of time the earth takes to orbit. the earth’s REVOLUTION will also mean that we see different groups of stars at night over the course of a year. the earth’s revolution around the sun also enables us to measure the distances to nearby stars using the mathematical concept of PARALLAX. The earth’s motion needs to be separated out from our observations about motions of other objects, for example, retrograde motion of planets like Mars, Jupiter and further planets are the result of the earth traveling faster than they do as we overtake them.
