Again the creation of NATO was clearly to stop the expansion of the USSR and even NATO denied the acceptance of USSR when they had applied as they felt that the USSR's motives were to weaken the alliance. Overall, they were rejected as they did not follow the same Democratic pathway just like the other NATO members. They were a main part of containing the Communist threat as they bordered USSR allied countries and even allowed Western Germany to join NATO as this is the first step of containing the Communist threat in entering Western Europe. Western Germany would especially be weak if they were split into different countries which the USSR can capitalize on meaning the unification of the occupation zones were to stop the USSR from capitalizing on this.

Once again, it is to show how the U.S will not back down no matter what even it would mean that the bombs could destroy the world many times over. It was more than USSR vs U.S but more like Democracy vs Communism. Whoever were to win the Arms Race would be a step close to being the #1 World Power as long as they are able to contain Communism to the borders of Russia. Neither of them used the bombs due to the doctrine M.A.D (Mutually Assured Destruction) where if one superpower were to fire nukes on the other, the other country would retaliate causing a nuclear winter. Neither side wanted this. It was just a safety precaution or an asset to keep both powers in check.

Overall, the reasons of these postwar events were due to stopping Communism from developing past the borders of Russia (containing it) and maybe even stopping Communism as a whole.

In early 1915, Germany introduced a policy of unrestricted submarine warfare in the Atlantic. This meant U-Boats were hunting and sinking merchant shipping without warning. The RMS Lusitania left New York on 1st May, 1915, bound for Liverpool. On 7th May it was spotted off the coast of Ireland by U-20 and torpedoed. Of 1,962 passengers, 1,198 lost their lives. Among the dead were 128 Americans, causing widespread outrage in the US.

In January 1917, the German diplomatic representative in Mexico received a secret telegram penned by German Foreign Secretary Arthur Zimmermann. It proposed a secret alliance between Germany and Mexico, should the United States enter the war. If the Central Powers were to win, Mexico would be free to annex territory in New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Unfortunately for Germany, the telegram was intercepted by the British and decrypted by Room 40. The British passed the document to Washington and it appeared on the front page of American newspapers on 1st March.

This combination of factors turned public opinion around. On 6 April, the United States declared war on Germany and began to mobilize. The first American troops arrived in Europe in June.

Germany resumed unrestricted submarine warfare in 1917. Knowing they risked provoking the United States into joining the war, Germany gambled on defeating the British before the US had a chance to mobilize. During February and March, several US cargo vessels were sunk without warning, resulting in the United States severing diplomatic ties with Berlin.

With the establishment of trade towns such as Savannah, the Georgia Colony was able to use the natural resources and raw materials available to develop trade in crops, such as, tobacco, cotton, rice, indigo, lumber, furs, fish, pottery, sugar and farm products.

Mainly these were products of slave plantations. The colonists did not like the Mercantilism system as it is a system designed to benefit mainly the country that has established the colones. it was designed to benefit their home country, Great Britain, in that the colonies were to provide the raw materials, then shipping them to Britain to make finished products and them having to buy the finished products.

To enforce mercantilism in the colonies, the British passed a series of laws restricting what the colonist could do, such as requiring the colonist to only transport goods using British ships. In time, the colonist rejected this, and resorted to smuggling from other countries. When the British began to crack down on smuggling, the colonists naturally resisted.

I would say either A or B. Roman art and mythology was based off of the work of the Greeks, who existed a few hundred years before Christ. Roman gods and goddesses in particular, were very similar to that of the Greeks but with slightly different attributes or names. Because of this, I would be more inclined to say the answer is B.
