Answer:

The sentence in the passage that most supports the inference is:

sentence 4.

Explanation:

<u>According to sentence 4, Elon Musk's ideas would sometimes seem strange to others. This fact allows us to infer something: that he was sometimes criticized for his ideas. And why is that? People tend to criticize things they find odd or they simply do not understand. Therefore, sentence 4 is the option that best supports the inference.</u>

Born in 1972, Elon Musk is a South-African engineer and businessman. He is currently most famous due to his company's success in launching rockets and working alongside NASA.

Write an essay about Causes of happiness. <br><br> (Read comments)<br><br> Thanks
vladimir1956 [14]

There are many causes of happyieness including sucess, friends and family, and yourself. We're not talking finantial sucess, although that is nice too. We are talking about the sucess of being able to set goals and acheive them. It is this journy that keeps us content. For example, studying for a test and then receiving a grade better than you normally get. This would make one feel acomplished and good about themselves.

Another thing that makes people happy are having loved ones around and there to suppport you. Being with the people you love, and that care about you is what makes us feel good and that your not alone. Even just a warm conversation at the dinner table, or playing a fun board game. Be around people that will bring you up rather than make you feel bad about yourself. People are the ones to make us smile and cheerful which is what makes our heart happy. That is why we strive to throw birthday parties for our friends, and do thing to make our parents proud.

Lastly, and the most important thing to make us happy is yourself. Afterall, happiness comes from within and you are the one and only one who can choose how to feel. You have to accept and love yourself unconditionaly and realize no one's perfect. You just want to be the best person you can be and not always try to please others. Thinking of all the things you have to be grateful for and viewing your life as a glass half full, and not half empty. Do things that will make you happy. Clearly, there are so many things that make us happy from sucess to loving yourself.

Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

B. The imagery of the decision shows that all power in society lies in one person’s hands.

Explanation:

"Anthem" is a novel written by<em> Ayn Rand.</em> It centers on the character of "Equality 7-2521," a young man who rebelled by pursuing a scientific research for he wanted to know many things about the world. The story also depicted the<em> "loss of individuality</em>" through the means of "collectivism." This allowed the "Council of Vocations" to decide what work people will pursue.

The situation above shows that all power in the society lies in one person's hands and this is not what Equality 7-2521 wanted. He was given the vocation of "sweeping." He wanted to express his individuality by studying, rather than by sweeping for he wanted to be a "Scholar," but he couldn't do anything with the decision.

Which fact, left out of the account shown, most clearly suggests that the
mafiozo [28]

Option C shows a detail left out that makes the report biased.

This option states that:

Since Mayor Quinn was elected, crime rates have stayed at about the same rate as they were before.

<h3>What is a biased report?</h3>
  • Report that does not expose all the necessary information.
  • Report that encourages the reader to support only one aspect.
  • Report that hides information.
  • Report that only shows a part of the presented element.

The report shown by the Mayor shows that he is working to reduce crime in the city. This information is biased because the mayor does not show what is being done, nor does he present statistics on the change in crime rates before and after he takes office.

This encourages readers to believe only one strand of the argument, without the ability to interpret it and have a complete view of it.
