Morphology is the branch of grammar that studies all related to the forms of words. A word consists of one or more morphemes, which are the smallest unit of meaning of a word but that can not stand on its own. Morphemes may be either stem, root words, prefixes, or suffixes and they are a major part of Morphology's study.
