Hitler used fear through these two extreme groups, to attacking his rivals and force people to support the Nazis. Using fear meant that people were terrified of what danger they would come to if they went against Hitler’s regime. This meant that Hitler had huge power over Germany, as nobody had the power to stand in his way or ignore the SS or Gestapo
