How did the londan underground railway become a huge sucess?explain?
asambeis [7]
London Underground Railway was a huge success because of the following reasons I'm telling you ---
1. The population of London increased dramatically because many people migrated from villages to the city in search of work.
2. People of the city were accommodated outside the city in family cottages, while the industrial places where they worked were located on the inside of London.
3. Some form of transport was needed so that people could commute from home to work and back home, and the Underground Railway helped in that a lot, because it was the only mode of transport which carried a large number of people in a short span of time.
4. Although the railway was discouraged earlier because people complained of suffocation, it became a huge success because it was the only way of connecting their homes with their workplace.
Hope I helped!

A plastic container is shaped like a rectangular prism. The volume of the prism is 1,250 cubic units. The area of the base is 25
defon

Answer:

5 units

Explanation:

Given that:

Container is shaped like a rectangular prism :

Volume of a rectangular prism is obtained thus :

Volume = Length * width * height

Volume = Area of base * height

Area of base = 250 unit²

Volume = 1250 unit³

1250 unit³ = 250 unit³ * height

Height = 1250 unit³ / 250 unit³

Height = 5 units

Describe the culture at Cady’s school (look at definition of culture to help answer)?
alexandr402 [8]

Answer:

Find explanation below.

Explanation:

Culture refers to the social behavior, or life style of a group of people. Cady Heron in the film 'Mean Girls' was a young woman who had spent sixteen years of her life in Africa where her parents worked on a research. On moving back to America, Cady was registered in North Shore High school. The culture in the school was that of Class distinction, and segregation on the bases of race, beauty and wealth.

A cliche known as the Plastics were a group of three girls who domineered over others in schools. The criteria to belong to the group was being extremely pretty. Such an environment was strange to Cady who had been home-schooled by her parents. Initially she was bullied on arriving the school.Then she became friends with two girls who educated her on what happened in the school as well as the different classes.

Cady's extreme beauty became a threat to the Plastics who eventually welcomed her to the group. Cady's link between the lower and higher classes resulted in the eventual downfall of the Plastics.
