The answer that makes the most sense and sounds the best is <u>shuffling.</u>

Explanation:

He can't really move, so he has to shuffle around the house. He could still walk, so we can take out crawling, and slinking doesn't make much sense.

Moving means he can (Well, move) easily.

That leaves us with shuffle.

I would say “shuffling” best completes the sentence because he has problems with his legs and he probably won’t be crawling from room to room

Slinking means like smoothly moving, which he obviously cannot do
