Answer:

I'm not gonna write a whole paragraph but here's an idea:

Fossil fuels, greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, contribute to climate change by our usage. Climate change means Earth is warming up. Earth warming up means icebergs are melting. Icebergs melting means sea levels rising. Sea levels rising means coastal ecosystems and habitats are being destroyed,killing marine wildlife, all because of fossil fuels, greenhouse gases, and carbon dioxide.

Which lines in this excerpt from act IV of Shakespeare’s Romeo and juliet reflect the conflict of person versus the unknown?
Lisa [10]

Answer:(JULIET wakes)

JULIET: O comfortable friar! where is my lord?

I do remember well where I should be,

And there I am. Where is my Romeo?

FRIAR LAURENCE: I hear some noise. Lady, come from that nest

Of death, contagion, and unnatural sleep:

A greater power than we can contradict

Hath thwarted our intents. Come, come away.

Thy husband in thy bosom there lies dead;

And Paris too. Come, I'll dispose of thee

Among a sisterhood of holy nuns:

Stay not to question, for the watch is coming;

Come, go, good Juliet,

(Noise again)

I dare no longer stay.

JULIET: Go, get thee hence, for I will not away.

(Exit FRIAR LAURENCE)

What's here? a cup, closed in my true love's hand?

Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end:

O churl! drunk all, and left no friendly drop

To help me after? I will kiss thy lips;

Haply some poison yet doth hang on them,

To make die with a restorative.

(Kisses him)

Thy lips are warm.

What powerful, emotional appeal does Paine make in the conclusion of his essay to sum up the choice facing the colonists?
denis-greek [22]

Answer:

Paine's main purpose is to encourage the soldiers and people at home to not give up, and to keep fighting for their freedom. One of the most powerful details supporting this is that, if they don't win this war, then they are going to become slaves to Britain.
