Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

A) The rise of Benito Mussolini and fascism in Italy

C) Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party’s coming to power in Germany

D) Feelings of anger and resentment towards the Treaty of Versailles

Explanation:

The Axis was formed by countries which leaders were dictators. The goal of Germany, Japan and Italy was to empower their country at the expense of weakening other countries. Prior to WWII, these three powers had been focusing their energy in reinforcing and improving their armies.

In 1930's Germany, Hitler rose to power with his Nazi Party, becoming known as "der Führer". He wanted to avenge Germany's loss of WWI and territory thanks to the Treaty of Versailles. In Italy, Benito Mussolini and Fascism rose to power as well, promising reorganization of the country and economic solutions for it. On the other hand, Japan started invading Manchuria in 1930 in search for raw materials. Soon the three powers known as The Axis would start their tactical moves.
