The most important quality of a knight is their “strong ideal of equality and defense of the weak”. Among the many other characteristics of a knight I find this one the most important because a knight was supposed to be a figure of justice and protection, and given the fact that throughout history there has always been evil and evildoers, there should be a person who protects the weak and poor from the abusive and rich.
