Verbal Irony

Verbal Irony occurs when a speaker's intention is the opposite of what he or she is saying.

Anna’s mom said that ten year-olds drive thenselves to the store all the time. When in reality, we all know this is false. Young children cannot drive themselves anywhere.

Hope this helps!

What is passive voice?
mariarad [96]

Answer:

Passive voice produces a sentence in which the subject receives an action. To change a sentence from passive to active voice, determine who or what performs the action, and use that person or thing as the subject of the sentence.

an example of passive voice:

Twenty civilians were killed in the bomb explosion.

wanna know about active?

The active voice describes a sentence where the subject performs the action stated by the verb. It follows a clear subject + verb + object construct that's easy to read. In fact, sentences constructed in the active voice add impact to your writing. With passive voice, the subject is acted upon by the verb.

an example of passive voice:

Active: Someone killed twenty civilians in the bomb explosion.

now look at both these sentences together:

Passive: Twenty civilians were killed in the bomb explosion.

Active: Someone killed twenty civilians in the bomb explosion.

do you see the difference? : )

i hope you understand what is passive voice and i hope it helps

well you know what i mean xD

NemiM [27]

You would know that clauses 5 and 6 would contain the resolution because that's when Isabella stops Julian from the camp. You can also tell because of Isabella's actions; which would make her the antagonists because she stops Julian (the protagonists)  from continuing his actions.

How to write a personal essay about your self
Anni [7]
You would just write things about you, such as where you were born, how old you are, your likes and dislikes. It is pretty simple and if you can't think of anything just make up some random things.
