sergiy2304 [10]

Answer: Before you start WASH YOUR HANDS. First gather any ingredients you will need . Make sure its the right amount of everything gather the measuring cups and everything. After you set out the ingredients pre-heat the oven to 350F.  Then you will add what you need to make the cookies . Make sure you add every thing one mistake can ruin the cookies. Next you would oil down your pan or foil or what ever your using . Oiling the pan will keep it from sticking on whatever you use . After that add the cookies how ever big or small you want them . Finally put the cookies in the oven to bake give it about 30 minutes at max I would say when their done enjoy .

10. What figurative language is used in the following passage sudden stillness, Everyone storing,
quester [9]

Answer:

D. alliteration

Explanation:

Oxymoron: figurative language where two contradictive terms appear together (i.e. all alone). There's no oxymoron here, though.

Onomatopoeia: figurative language with a word that represents a sound. There's no onomatopoeia here, though.

Allusion: a form of figurative language where one mentions something indirectly. (i.e. he's a Romeo with the girls). There's no allusion here, though.

Alliteration: figurative language where many words begin with the same sound. There is alliteration here: sudden stillness, everyone snoring.

Therefore, the answer is D.

How could Beethoven compose music despite his loss<br>of hearing?
Bad White [126]

Answer:

He could still “hear” in his head. All he had to do was transcribe what he “heard” and knew onto staff paper. Composers do not need to physically hear the music they are writing—they know how it will sound. Basically he already knew the basics of music, and so used his head in place of his ears.
