The Industrial Revolution introduced new machinery, like the Spinning jenny,  flying shuttle, spinning mule, and steam engine. Spinning Jenny was able to produce more threads, which improved the production volume of cotton textile manufactures. The textile industry managed to make the production and manufacturing processes quicker, more efficient, thus cheaper. The prices of the goods dropped, so the textile industry benefited as it continually produces.
