Answer:

The concept of the world being flat has extended beyond geographical boundaries to the rapid blurring and demolition of economic ones. Globalisation is not an expansionary mindset anymore and in many cases, a strategic imperative to identify growth opportunities. Organisations are increasingly looking beyond their national markets. E-commerce and the emergence of digital and social marketing practices have led to a level playing field for organisations and customers and have redefined competition. Price wars have become increasingly common. Established brands are increasingly under threat from emerging private label brands.

Given the massive interconnectedness of the business world and emerging models of competition and growth, how can organisations maintain their core underlying brand identity? In addition to competitive market factors, worldwide external shocks like the global recession have also severely impacted businesses at both local and global level. The key question that emerges is that whether there is now a continual need for brands to adapt or face the threat of extinction if they practice consistency.

Explain two ways in which sectionalism caused conflict or tension in the United States during the early 1800s. Then explain how
valkas [14]
In the 1800s, sectionalism was demonstrated in economic terms and in terms of slavery. The states in the North did not own slaves, and a lot of industry was beginning to take shape there, so the population was becoming more rural. Meanwhile, the South was primarily farmers and had slaves. This situation eventually resulted in the Civil War.

The modern US as both more and less sectionalism than before. It is now usually expressed in political and social issues. You can see certain areas of the country, particularly the southeast and midwest, is both more conservative in social matters and generally votes Republican. Then you have the northeast and west coast that are more liberal and vote Democrat.

Marxist and feminist theory often have different objects of study. why are they both considered conflict theories?
Monica [59]

Marxist and feminist theory often have different objects of study. But they are both considered conflict theories because they focus on the role of power in shaping society.

Conflict theory is a theory developed by Karl Marx, who argued that societies are in a condition of perpetual conflict. Due to this, social order is shaped by power and domination, rather than cooperation and concord.

Marx believed that human history is a history of class struggles, and this conflict is the driving force of history. Feminists argue that societies are mostly patriarchal, marked by domination of male over females who are kept subordinated and suffer various violence including psychological, physical, and social.
