Many events happened but in general there was a period of political and economic stagnation. As this bloody period was coming to a close, many leaders could have easily carved China into many regions, however Lui Bang stepped forward and brought back centralized rule with the new dynasty he formed. After the Han unification won enough power, they united china again but it was 200 years from the fall of the Qin dynasty that this happened.
