there are many reasons. first and foremost, computers are taking over the age. if we don't learn how to use computers now, we will be severely handicapped in our futures. secondly, learning how to use computers is a great way to sharpen a lot of your senses and learn a lot. your hand eye coordination will increase as you type, and your problem solving abilities will as well when you, well, solve problems. they're also satisfying to use.
