This is a good argument because some teenagers come out of high school lazy and unaware of their community needs that's where service learning comes in. Forty hours of volunteer work are needed for CPS teens to graduate, and I feel that service-learning hours really help. Service learning improves students' awareness of their community -- and even their futures. Through service learning, a teen might realize that the type of work they're doing is something they want to pursue as a career.
