Answer:

Hi there~

A good friend will cheer you up when you feel down. A good friend won't make you feel the loser of the group, but instead they'll make you feel part of the group no matter what.

A good friend will be willing to risk their life for you, and save you from the darkness even if they say "I'm fine." because they know you aren't okay.

This is what a true friend is.

Hope this helps

C. If I were you
DENIUS [597]

Answer:

c. If I were you, I would eat less chocolate.

d. We will leave without her if she arrives late.

4.

a. The policeman painted the house.

b. Roma cooked the meal.

c. The students practiced the questions.

d. The helpers are washing the clothes.

Explanation:

In the given sentences, the changes to be made are based on the respective questions given. The sentences after the required changes are given as below-

c. If I were you, I would eat less chocolate.

d. We will leave without her if she arrives late.

In these two sentences, the change is done in the use of the verb form.

4.

a. The policeman painted the house.

b. Roma cooked the meal.

c. The students practiced the questions.

d. The helpers are washing the clothes.

In these four sentences, the passive voice is changed into the active voice. This is done by changing the position of the subject and object as placed in the passive voice. Moreover, an active voice is when the verb is acted upon by the subject whereas, in a passive voice, the verb receives the action of the subject.

Answer : The sentences from the excerpt that seems to foreshadow Dexter’s future obsession with “possessing” Judy Jones is -

"He wanted not association with glittering things and glittering people—he wanted the glittering things themselves. Often he reached out for the best without knowing why he wanted it—and sometimes he ran up against the mysterious denials and prohibitions in which life indulges."

Where it is clearly seen that he wants all the best things that was available without the answers of why he wanted them. He always wanted best things or him.
