Read the passage.
7nadin3 [17]
The most effective way to vary the sentence patterns in this passage is B) To invert sentence 3 so that the verb becomes the subject.

As it currently stands, both sentences 2 and 3 begin with a verb, and later get to the subject of the sentence. It makes the passage more difficult to read when two sentences in a row begin this way.

A better (inverted) sentence would read, "The Heinz Factory, which was considered to be a model place to work, was of particular pride to Henry Heinz, the founder of the Pennsylvania-based company.

Question 4 (3 points)
Olegator [25]

The image of a heavy rock falling through a fragile spider web helps convey the vulnerability of  humanity's position in relation to God's power.

The main thesis of "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" is that the congregation members should repent of their sinful lifestyle, or they will go to hell. The sinners are the spiders, and their artificial righteousness is the cobweb. Jonathan Edwards is saying that just like the spider's web won't be strong enough to stop a rock from falling through it, his audience's prayers and small efforts won't be enough to protect them from hell fire unless they seek forgiveness and change their ways.
