Green plants make their own food. They use simple inorganic substances – carbon dioxide, water and minerals – from the air and soil. Plants build these substances into complex materials, making all the carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and vitamins that they need.

The cells that respond to changes in blood gas concentration and generate the respiratory rhythm are found in several nuclei in
levacccp [35]

The answer is; medulla oblongata and pons.

In this region of the brain, there are chemoreceptors that can detect changes in the pH of the blood. These are called central chemoreceptor. There are also chemoreceptors in the arteries called peripheral chemoreceptors. When these chemoreceptors detect a drop in the blood PH (due to increased dissolved carbon dioxide in the blood), the depth and rate of breathing is increased in the lungs.

Eddi Din [679]
This feature of DNA is termed complimentary base pairing, in that the base that compliments a certain base, say A, is always paired with base T, and likewise every T has its pair partner always as A. The same holds true with C with G, and vice versa.

balu736 [363]

Answer:

Background extinction

Explanation:

The background extinction refers to the diminishing of the species at a fairly slow and constant rate. This extinction takes place because of the various environmental factors namely the changing climatic conditions, spreading of diseases, and destruction of habitat. It plays an important role in the natural process of evolution. This has been taking place continuously throughout the geological time and the species are undergoing continuous evolution over a specific period of time.
