Explain how the relationship between the United States & the Soviet Union (USSR) fell apart.
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

emergence of nuclear weapons, and the fear of communism in the United States.

Explanation:

During World War II, the United States and the Soviet Union fought together as allies against the Axis powers. However, the relationship between the two nations was a tense one. Americans had long been wary of Soviet communism and concerned about Russian leader Joseph Stalin's tyrannical rule of his own country.

Another cause of tension was that the Soviet Union was trying to spread communism. The U.S. was against communism and they took leadership of containment policy. The Containment policy was the U.S. approach to trying to prevent communism spreading.

What caused the outbreak of the Cold War, includes tensions between the two nations at the end of World War II, the ideological conflict between both the United States and the Soviet Union, the emergence of nuclear weapons, and the fear of communism in the United States.

Gorbachev's decision to allow elections with a multi-party system and create a presidency for the Soviet Union began a slow process of democratization that eventually destabilized Communist control and contributed to the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Give specific examples of colonial responses to English policies.
Natasha2012 [34]
Two of the most significant examples of colonial responses to English policies was the Boston Tea Party, in which colonists dumped massive amounts of British tea into the ocean to protest a tax, and the colonists' refusal to use many paper products to protest the Stamp Act.
