In the beginning, the Grinch hates Christmas and the Christmas spirit and cheer. He takes everyone’s gifts away as something extraordinary to him as in fact he hated Christmas and never received anything back. In the middle, we find out how his childhood was and now we understand why he acts the way he does. In the end, he realizes that what he did was wrong and gave everyone’s gifts back and decided to become a changed person by having dinner with them.
