Answer:

In this excerpt from the short story The Passage by Durango Mendoza, Joe describes the sun and the stars and how they relate to life and death. The "daddy" is referring to the sun, and the "little children" are the stars. The story explores the theme of loss of innocence and mortality, and this passage further conveys these two themes. The sun setting is a metaphor for death. When the sun dies, the stars finally come out. This could be interpreted to mean that a person cannot truly grow up until they experience the loss of a loved one.

What is the best explanation of the situational irony in
NISA [10]

Answer:

The situational irony was that both of them were in acceptance and denial mode.

Explanation:

The aunt and the children were trying their best to remain in their position as far the situation persists. Since the entry of a housefly in the scene made the situation rather dramatic. The children seems to be quite aggressive in pestering with the housefly. However, the aunt wants to keep herself cool. She continues to persuade the children in her own way of not to distrub that poor creature in any way.

Write an essay on plastics waste
Phantasy [73]

Explanation:

Plastics waste is terribly unhealthy for our planet, by harming our wildlife and even ourselves.

For example, when plastic is tossed into the ocean it not only harms the oceanlife, but it harms us. The plastic breaks into microplastics and go into the fish, so when we eat the fish it could go into our system if that fish had eaten any plastic.

Plastic can survive for years in it's process of breaking down.
