Answer:

why should luck be believed in? Luck is not real, it is coincidence. It is accident that seems good or bad. Life is what it is made as but luck plays no role in it. Little leprechauns don't exist and they are luck, this makes luck in general just a hope and belief like a child and santa claus.

Answer:

Well luck is believable ya but it kind of depends. To me luck is just a consequence. It can be good and it can be bad. If I do something it can either be good or bad afterwards. So ya I guess u could say I believe in luck.

Suppose you overslept and you're going to be late for work or school. You run out the door to start your car
masya89 [10]

Answer:

Highlight the impact of Kettering's invention on society

Explanation:

You can use process of elimination on this. It's not the first one, because the author praises his invention and says it helped by "contributing to the growth of the U.S", we can eliminate the second one because he isn't writing about how sophisticated cars were, only about the invention. That leaves the last one, which makes the most sense and has been checked.

What are the writer's purposes for using irony in "Arrangement in Black and White"? Select all that apply.
Mademuasel [1]
I would say the writer is using irony in Arrangement in  Black and White to emphasize the woman's contradictions that basically while she says she loves "colored" people then she says she loves them because they are "just like children" always singing and laughing so while she says she loves them she shows she has a condescending attitude towards them even though later on she says basically we are all humans aren't we so is obviously of two minds.
