Etruscan women had more social freedom than Greek women, this can be seen in tomb paintings which portray Etruscan drinking parties where married women are seen participating. Also, many tomb paintings portray married women at sporting events.

Another evidence of that is that Etruscan women had big tombs with ornaments, which was not possible in Greek society.

I believe, that in our society the major visual evidence of greater freedom for women are the pictures that show women portraying different social parts and wearing different clothes which were not possible in other moments of history that are shown in paintings for example.
