Hola, me llamo Alejandra. At my school in Nicaragua, the school year runs from the beginning of August until the middle of June.
Vacation runs from the June to August. The day also includes two breaks for recess and lunch for high school students and one break for recess for elementary students. My friend Eloi attends a middle school in Honduras where he goes to the morning shift, but there's another shift in the afternoon. Most primary school children attend the first shift. A normal public-school day in Honduras begins at 7 a.m. and ends between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. In Honduras, the school year runs from February to November, with a vacation during December and January.
