The rule of thirds is a "rule of thumb" or guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images such as designs, films, paintings, and photographs.
The rule of thirds is super simple. Basically if you divide your paper like the picture that I posted, you want to put whatever subject you are taking a picture/painting on one of the circled points. If you do this instead of placing a subject dead center, it will help add interest to your project
