Explanation:

Orpheus and Eurydice is a myth, that talks about love, loss, and the power of art/music. The myth starts with a man that was given power by the gods; to play the most wonderful music that the world had ever heard.

After this adventure with Jason and Argonauts is when he would find his true love, Eurydice. On the day that Orpheus and Eurydice were to be wed the young bride was bitten by a snake in the grass. So Orpheus made his way through a cave to get to the underworld. While there he made his way to Hades himself to plead and sing for him, so that he may have his only true love back. After listening to Orpheus's song Hades was crying. From that tear, Hades calls out her name. She then appeared. Orpheus was allowed to take her with him as long as while on their journey back that he must never look back to see if she was still following him. If he did look back she would once again she would be taken from him. Then on their trip out of the underworld.

In the poem, "Orpheus (1)" we are viewing this story from Eurydice's point of view. She is talking about how Orpheus was always in control of Eurydice. By saying things like, "the return to time was not my choice.", and, "You had your old leash with you, love you might call it."

This point of view changes the story because, while the original explains love and affection as being a driving motive for saving Eurydice, The poem, however, suggests that Orpheus was being selfish and controlling. Eurydice seemingly does not love Orpheus.

xxTIMURxx [149]
These lines are:
Parting is such sweet sorrowThat I shall say good night till it be morrow.

Neither Romeo nor Juliet want this night to end because they don't want to leave each other's side. They want to stay together the entire night, but given that they are unable to, Juliet speaks those famous parting words, wishing to meet Romeo again in the morning.

Look out of the window and tell me what you see choose the mood of the unlined verb
shusha [124]

The verbs "look" and "tell" have imperative mood, while the verb "see" has mood indicative.

We can reach this conclusion because:

  • The indicative mood is presented when a verb is being used to issue an order or a request.
  • The indicative mood is presented when the verb is being used to describe a fact, an action that is taking place.

With that, we can see in what the verbs "look" and "tell" are being used in the sentence to describe an order that the speaker is doing, and therefore, these two verbs have imperative mood. On the other hand, the verb "see" indicates an action that will occur, being in the indicative mood.
