On the other hand, we have the steppes. These areas are sparsely populated, are usually low on resources, the climate is harsh, which in turn makes the countries dominated by them are less developed, and that in turn means infrastructure in bad condition or fully lacking in most of the territory. Such conditions result in bad conditions for trade as the opportunities are much lower than in other regions.
