Equality is the condition of having the same privileges, status, or rights for all the members of the group; fairness. When a person experiences equality they feel important and feel as if they have the same opportunity.

I feel as if they differ because equality is typically defined as treating everyone the same and giving everyone access to the same opportunities. Meanwhile, equity refers to proportional representation . I think equality is more important because it gives everyone the chance to be treated the same .
