Describe at least two major points of the Declaration of Independence.
lesantik [10]
I think you can break down the document into three major ideas very easiliy:

All men are created equal.
Therefore, no men are wise enough to rule over other men without their consent. The way to resolve this paradoxical situation is through liberal democratic instutitions that combine majority rule with the right of the minority to express itself.
The English government (personified as King George III) had shown an unwillingness to extend these rights to American colonists — even though (1) above implies that colonists ought to have no fewer rights than Englishmen.

What does Article II Section 4 say?
gladu [14]
Im assuming that you are asking about the Constitution. Article 2 section 4 of the Constitution literally says, “The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Why was the purchase of Alaska by the United States in 1867 called "Seward's Folly"?
hoa [83]
I think the purchase of Alaska by the United States in 1867 was called "Seward's Folly" because Secretary of state William Seward negotiated and signed the Treaty.
