After the terrorist attacks in New York City on September 11, 2001, Cohn, Mehl, and Pennebaker (2004) examined blogs of users of
a specific website. Through their use of ______, they determined that their participants expressed more negative emotions and were more cognitively and socially engaged for two weeks. After that period of time, these levels returned to baseline.
The researchers of this case used linguistic analysis to examine the behaviour of the participants. Linguistic analysis refers to the study of language from a scientific perspective. It studies the social, cultural and historical influences that affect how people use language. It also studies different contexts, and how language relates to these.
I would say many thing from life liberty and pursuit of happiness have come through freedom of newspapers talking about government issues or thoughts many books about openly opinionated articles were allowed from these themes. (I'm not an expert just giving a sort of ideas )
