Egyptians developed hieroglyphics as a system of writing. In addition to scribes, who used hieroglypics to record important info
Lena [83]

Only the higher classes of society could read hieroglyphs. This usually included priests and government officials. The main reason for this was the fact that education was not widespread or easily accessible to the masses in Egypt. Due to the restricted nature of this knowledge, when the political and social structure of Egypt changed, the knowledge of how to decipher these symbols died out, and they were only deciphered once more in modern times.

Why did the mexican government set up a federal republic?
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

On November 7, 1823, the constituent congress opened, approving the Basic Law on January 31 of the following year, which was to remain in force until the adoption of the constitution. The law confirmed that the Mexican nation is forever free and independent of Spain or any other power. Of particular importance was Article 5, which stated that "a nation shall adopt a republican, federal, popular, representative form of government. On the same day, Congress addressed to the people with an appeal that characterized the adoption of the Basic Law as the end of the revolution. “This is a national banner,” the appeal said, around which all patriots should unite, because if before they could have different views on the form of government, they are now obliged to obey the opinion of the vast majority expressed by the deputies elected for that.

In this country, the idea of federalism from its inception had a pronounced political connotation, since federalism was the ‘banner’ of the liberal party, and centralism represented the party of conservatives - the two largest political parties in the country. It was quite obvious that, depending on the results of the political struggle for power, the country should develop along the path of federalism or centralism.

What specific sins toward his fellow man does Eliphaz accuse Job of committing in Job chapter 22? Give scripture to support your
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

Eliphaz accused Job of being impartial and discriminating against the poor, the orphans and the widows. These can be inferred from Chapter 22 verses 6 -9.

Explanation:

The Book of Job from the Bible was written about the ordeal of Job under punishment by Satan as a test of faith for God. The three friends who came to observe him and even talk with hi about his suffering represent the many forms of observance. Eliphaz is one of the friends who came alongside the others- Elihu and Bildad.

Eliphaz accused Job of discriminating against the widows and orphans, stating that he <em>"sent widows away empty-handed  and broke the strength of the fatherless" (Job 22: 9)</em>. Moreover, he also claimed that

<em>"demanded security from your relatives for no reason; </em>

<em>    you stripped people of their clothing, leaving them naked. </em>

<em>You gave no water to the weary </em>

<em>    and you withheld food from the hungry, </em>

<em>though you were a powerful man, owning land— </em>

<em>    an honored man, living on it."</em> <em>(Verses 6,7,8)</em>
