Depending on what you choose your profession to be you might have to live in a foreign country that speaks Spanish which having Spanish as a language you already learned you could easily ask people for help etc.. and academically it looks very well on your college application to have a foreign language on there
It depends on the profession. I'm going to use tour guide as an example. Learning the basics of Spanish speaking in high school will help you when in college should you be taking a language major or minor to understand and learn easier and faster.<span />
