A caravel is a type of ship made from a single stern caste. These types of ships were used by the Europeans for their explorations of different lands unknown to them during the early days. Up to this day, the way a caravel looks is still debatable and historians are yet to find their answers. Through time these caravels were reliable because they can be easily maneuvered, their speed was incredible and yet they perform safe in the waters. The caravels gained their fame through the Spanish and Portuguese voyages that discovered lands far from their imaginations. Columbus was also said to have owned caravels during his time at sea and he named his ships Niña and Pinta. He admired them so great because of their speed and how easy it is to control at sea.
Both leaders enacted reform that protected individuals from problems caused by private business. This was one of Teddy Roosevelt’s most important policies. Roosevelt believed in giving America a “Square Deal” which including controlling corporations and putting into place consumer protection laws. Laws like the Meat Inspection Act ensured that companies that made had sanitary working conditions and produced food that was edible for the American public. La Follette had similar policies and ideas, as he was also a member of the progressive party ( just like Teddy Roosevelt ).
Because the internment broke several conditions of the Bill of Rights of the Constitution (in the United States). The same thing happened in Canada. I've lived in 2 communities that interred the Japanese during WWII. I find they have varied in their response to what happened to them during the war, but for the most part, they are model citizens. They have been very forgiving of their treatment.
It is important for every citizen to remember to defend the Constitution. The rights of citizens cannot be taken away on a whim. Every safeguard must be fully exercised or the Constitution is just a piece of paper.
New Citizens should remember that rights are conditional. If treason is involved the Constitution will not provide adequate protection. If obedience is required, it should be given. That's the balance between the Bill of Rights and allegiance to another country. The internment should never have happened and wouldn't have in normal times.
The high priest served only one year, and then the next priest would be chosen from a new region.
Well even though they wanted to be an isolated country without other people's cultures mixed in, they did take a couple of things from the Chinese. Like the writing system and the religion (Buddhism). I think they sort of took influences from the Europeans as well, I think. They had samurais, similar to Knights; both held courage and loyalty above all things. I hope a helped a bit!
