In the article "Dumped" by Helen Fisher, she writes about the pain that comes with a broken heart. The biological anthropologist studies love and how it affects those involved.
In her article, she mentioned that love is<em> "an evolutionary adaptation"</em> which also has its downside. And once this love turns the opposite way, the pain and suffering it brings the darker side of human love. In her experimental technique using <em>"functional MRI"</em>, she along with other collaborators worked on determining how a brain in love acts. Here, the use of the word <em>"collaborator" </em>means other people who work alongside her to get the same goal, all having the same objective.
