Which sentence from the passage shows how actions of a character develop the theme?

English
1 answer:
jarptica [38.1K]3 years ago

Answer: A

Explanation:

''He now had to make a decision, a choice between two dreams.'' is the sentence that is showing how the actions of a character develop the theme since after this sentence readers will expect and want to know what will happen. They know that the character must decide and do something about his problem.

  • B is an incorrect answer because in this sentence it says that the character will not make that decision today so the readers will have a feeling like the character would not do anything about it.
  • C and D are blocking the theme, they are not developing it since the character in both sentences is wanting to forget about the situation.

PLEASE HELP I HAVE TO WRITE A STORY BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE AFTER THIS!! This is what I have so far:
Rudik [331]
It is really a great story so far. What you need to do next is to write what did Ryker and Noelle do when they heard the footsteps above them. Did they investigate or did they leave the house? Since Ryker had already told Noelle that his brother was going to try and murder her, I don't think you should send them directly upstairs to see what or who made the footsteps. You should let the story continue a little more to be more dramatic. Don't let the story be a cliche like others would do. Perhaps, they could hide and wait to see who comes down. They could also catch the brother and then call the police or even the parents. You want the story to be different and have more excite to make the reader be wowed in the end.

Outline for are advertisements aimed at teenagers effective and are they ethical:sports equipment
Rufina [12.5K]

Answer:

More often than not, advertisements aimed at teenagers are effective. Simply because in the youthful ages, our brains are more easily persuaded. However, most advertisements are not ethical because they convince teens that they need to be everything but exactly who they are to be liked....... hope this helps!!
