In Saudi Arabia, the social structure is composed of mainly nomads but also a small group of people living in cities, called city-dwellers. Although they descend from the bedouin people, they see themselves as socially superior to them. In the same way, people from rural areas don´t consider city-dwellers as peers. The cultural rivalry between urban and rural areas remains in the present.
