I hope this helps I took both of the points and used the slope formula to get my slope which is 7/10 then I took any point from those two then I plugged it in to get the point slope form

Answer: y-3=7/10(x-6)

kozerog [31]

Answer: The area of the enclosure is 1,029 square meters

Step-by-step explanation: The first thing is to use the unit of measurement required by the question, and to do this we need to convert what we have to what is required.

If the scale of the diagram is given as every 4cm represents 7m, that means, every unit of the actual measurement would be given as

(X/4) x 7

For the length of the enclosure, we can determine that as follows;

Length = (28/4) x 7

Length = 7 x 7

Length = 49m

And for the width,

Width = (12/4) x 7

Width = 3 x 7

Width = 21m

Therefore, the area is calculated as,

Area = L x W

Area = 49 x 21

Area = 1029 m²

1. Simplify this expression: 13+ (-12) - (-5) = ?<br> O A.-30<br> O B.6<br> O C.30<br> OD. -6
Virty [35]

Answer:

B.6

Step-by-step explanation:

When we add and subtract, we do it from left to right

13+ (-12) - (-5)

13+-12

13-12 = 1

1 - -5

A negative negative is a positive

1 +5

enelope determined the solutions of the quadratic function by completing the square. f(x) = 4x2 + 8x + 1 –1 = 4x2 + 8x –1 = 4(x2
Marat540 [252]
The correct question is
<span>Penelope determined the solutions of the quadratic function by completing the square.
f(x) = 4x² + 8x + 1
–1 = 4x² + 8x
–1 = 4(x² + 2x)
–1 + 1 = 4(x² + 2x + 1)
0 = 4(x + 2)²
0 = (x + 2)²
0 = x + 2
–2 = x
What error did Penelope make in her work?

we have that
</span>f(x) = 4x² + 8x + 1
to find the solutions of the quadratic function
let
f(x)=0
 4x² + 8x + 1=0

Group terms that contain the same variable, and move the constant to the opposite side of the equation

 (4x² + 8x)=-1

Factor the leading coefficient

 4*(x² + 2x)=-1

Complete the square Remember to balance the equation by adding the same constants to each side.

 4*(x² + 2x+1)=-1+4 --------> ( added 4 to both sides)

Rewrite as perfect squares

4*(x+1)²=3

(x+1)²=3/4--------> (+/-)[x+1]=√3/2

(+)[x+1]=√3/2---> x1=(√3/2)-1----> x1=(√3-2)/2

(-)[x+1]=√3/2----> x2=(-2-√3)/2

therefore

the answer is

<span>Penelope should have added 4 to both sides instead of adding 1.</span>
