Spelling Bee
"Your word is, pacify." I gazed upon the mystical world, searching in my head for a strategy to solve this word. Of course I was not going to give up, I was motivated in a ferocious way. "3, 2, 1." Those ground breaking words broke my heart. "I'm sorry, but your answer was not valid." The satisfaction nourished my soul, yet it defied what an odd human I was. My quest to win was a misdeed. What a catastrophe!

Hope this helped! Have a splendid day!

NEED AND ANSWER ASAP

are chickpeas intensive or extensive crops?
Karolina [17]
Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) is an ancient crop that has been grown in India, the Middle East and parts of Africa for many years. It may have been grown in Turkey nearly 7,400 years ago. Much of the world's chickpea supply (80 to 90%) comes from India where poor soil, use of unimproved varieties and low rainfall results in yields averaging about 700 lb. I don’t know if it’s intensive or extensive. I’m really sorry.

1) In which season would you expect the most drainage through a watershed to occur? Why are wetlands especially important in thi
mars1129 [50]
1. You would expect the most drainage during the rainiest season, which is summer for the east coast of the US. This also coincides with hurricane season and snow melt runoff in spring-early summer. Wetlands absorb the excess water so that neighboring areas do not flood. They also act as important nurseries for sea life and have value for eco-tourism and potentially commercial farming. 2. Other than soul and sediments, run off from urban areas, pollution, and toxins can accumulate in wetlands. 3. This could create polluted waters in the Chesapeake Bay Area which would be detrimental to wildlife who use the area as a nursery, potentially devastating fisheries, there could be a reduction in ecotourism, a reduction in potable water for people and farms.
